The Objects of the Charity are the advancement of education, the advancement of human rights, conflict resolution or reconciliation, the relief of need by reason of age, ill health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage, in particular to: 3.1.1 provide advocacy support to local people. 3.1.2 support local people to understand and access their rights. 3.1.3 support local people to have their voice heard and taken into account. 3.1.4 support local people to access appropriate services. 3.1.5 raise awareness of the resource to help people be better informed about advocacy and their rights. 3.1.6 seek local people to become volunteers (Citizen Advocates). 3.1.7 through awareness raising seek local people who would want and benefit from advocacy support. 3.1.8 develop the advocacy resource based on identified gaps of advocacy provision (i.e horizon planning such as social security advocacy). 3.1.9 develop the advocacy resource based on the feedback/influence of people with lived experience.
