The Company's objects are:- (i) To preserve the character, history and traditions of the Fishing Industry in Buckie District. (ii) To promote and maintain public interest and participation in such matters. (iii) To establish and maintain a permanent Local Studies Room at Buckie Museum. (iv) To liaise and cooperate with, and assist all bodies with similar interests and pursuits and to affiliate to such national and local bodies where it would be in the interests of Society to do so. (v) To provide to members assistance and facilities for research into and education in the heritage of the Fishing Industry in Buckie District. (vi) To encourage the publication and dissemination of papers on the heritage of such Fishing Industry and provide an opportunity and outlet for members to participate actively in such matters.
