The objects of the Society shall be:- a) For giving relief to the natives of Orkney or Shetland, their children, their widows or widowers, residing in the Greater Glasgow Area or travelling through Glasgow and who, from sickness or sudden emergency, may be in need of temporary aid. b) For providing financial assistance for educational purposes to the residents of Orkney or Shetland, or their children, who may be studying in Glasgow c) For any other related cause that may be deemed appropriate by the Trustees.
