The study and practice of choral music in order to educate the public in its arts and sciences, by the presentation of concerts and other activities.
Kingston Choral Society was formed in 1949 and has 120-130 singers. Concerts are usually held in Kingston Parish Church. It performs four concerts a year covering a wide range of music from Bach to Gershwin and often performs with professional orchestras and high calibre soloists. There are occasional workshops and regular social and fundraising events are held.
