The Association is established :- a) to promote the advancement of the Buddliist faith in the West of Scotland. b)To promote the benefit of the inhabitants of the West of Scotland by associating the inhabitants, voluntary organisations and Local Authorities in a common effort to advance education and to provide facilities in the interest of social welfare for recreation and other leisure time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life for the aforementioned inhabitants. and c )To secure the establishment, maintenance and management of a Centre for activities promoted by the Association in furtherance of the above objects.
