(3) To arrange and promote lectures, demonstrations and competitions and to form classes of instruction so as to bring a widespread and thorough knowledge of the principles which underlie the art of swimming andJlife saving in schools, colleges and other educational establishments (4) To provide in the interests of social welfare facilities for recreation and other leisure time activity available to the public at large within the Mid Argyll area with a view to improving their conditions of life. (5) To promote tourism industry and commerce within Mid Argyll for the benefit of the general public in that area.
