The objects for which TACT is established are: a) To promote any charitable purpose for the benefit of the inhabitants of Ayrshire, its environs and in particular the advancement of education, the furtherance of health, the relief of poverty and unemployment. b) To promote and organise cooperation in the achievement of the above purposes and, to that end, bring together in council representatives of voluntary organisations and statutory authorities engaged in the furtherance of the above purposes within Ayrshire and environs. c) To do all other things as will properly attain the above purpose without discrimination
