To establish, co-ordinate, service and help to sustain a comprehensive and co-ordinated community service designed to meet the special needs of those affected by alcohol-related and ancillary problems, and to promote the developnent of facilities as required, as an integral part of such service. To increase public knowledge of the levels of alcohol abuse, its damaging effects on the individual, the family, society and the economy and to initiate and support action to combat the problem. To promote services and facilities, information, education, training and research in regard to the prevention, early diagnosis and treatment of alcohol-related and ancillary problems but so that the Ccmpany shall not be bound to advocate or specify any particular method of treatment.
