The company's objects are:- 4.1 To provide recreational facilities, with particular reference to children and young people within Scotland ('the Operating Area') and to organise recreational activities particularly within the Operating Area, with such facilities/activities being available to members of the public at large with the object of improving their conditions of life. 4.2 To advance education and raise awareness of and identify issues affecting the welfare of children and young people, and in doing so to influence the development of practices and policies that more closely reflect the needs of children and young people who are resident in the Operating Area. 4.3 To relieve unemployment for the public benefit in such ways as may be thought fit, including providing assistance to find employment, particularly among young people who are resident in the Operating Area. 4.4 To relieve ill-health and promote good health, particularly among children and young people resident in the Operating Area. 4.5 To advance citizenship and community development by helping children and young people resident in the Operating Area to develop their physical mental and spiritual capacity so that they may grow to full maturity as individuals and members of society. and 4.6 To promote, operate, establish and/or support other similar projects and programmes which further charitable purposes particularly for the benefit of residents of the Operating Area.
