The objects for which the Trust is established are to protect, repair and maintain for the use, education and benefit of the public Scheduled Monuments, Listed Buildings, public rights of way, public meeting halls, coastal structures and other buildings and artefacts of architectural, historical, educational or other interest located in and around the villages of Charlestown, Limekilns and Pattiesmuir, in the County of Fife and the Trustees shall hold the Trust Fund at their sole discretion to make grants, loans or payments out of the income or capital of the Trust Fund for these objects or any of them or for such other purpose or purposes charitable in law as the Trustees shall from time to time determine: Declaring that such grants or loans may be made on such terms and subject to such conditions as the Trustees may think fit and in the case of loans with or without security and upon such terms as to interest, if any, and repayment as the Trustees in their sole discretion think proper
