The Trust Estate shall be held, used and applied in and towards the preservation, improvement and enhancement of the architectural, aesthetic, historic, civic and cultural amenity and character of the Clachan of Rosneath. That the Trust Purposes and Powers have in fact been from the inception of the Trust and will in future by virtue of these presents be restricted and confined to lands, dwelling houses and property owned by us as Trustees foresaid AND WE DECLARE AND CONFIRM that no application of the Trust Purposes and Powers to privately owned property was at any time heretofore contemplated and that such Purposes and Powers were only included in general terms in the said Trust Deed to provide for all possible future contingencies which might arise in different circumstances.
